YOUNG ARTIST AT EXHIBITION WITH ADULTS

This year the Independence Art Studio, located in
Liberty Recourses, 714 Market street, had an art
show featuring many beautiful works of art. All of
the participating artist were adults except for 10
year old Myles Fordham Johnson. Myles is very
serious about his art work and feels as though his
painting should be hung as well. He was granted a
spot. At the show he intelligently gave an
explanation of others artwork as well as his own.
His work was one of the first to be sold. We at
Creators Heritage Art School would like to
congratulate our own “Myles”!
Social capital will play a large part in selecting our board of
directors. These people have a great
interest in art education.

The mission statement

of Steven Johnson’s Creators Heritage School of Art comes from the conviction that an
overwhelming amount of young people are purely interested in art, and would like to develop
there
skills. Our goal is to provide a non-profit school of art for disenfranchised and inner city youth
as an
outlet to exercise their talents and abilities, and become less involved in negative activities and
become potential leaders of the future!
Steven Johnson’s Creators Heritage School of the
Arts,

is a recently
incorporated organization that received its 501 (c) (3) in
2009.
The organization at current seeks to operate two primary
programs: 1. An after school program and; 2. A weekend
art school.
At current, the program needs a facility from which to
operate, and its founder has located a possible feasible
location sufficiently close to the organizations primary
address suitable location for the after school and art
school. For more information call 267-471-8209.
